Neil Raphel
President

Neil Raphel is one of the founders of Raphel Marketing. He has a 20-year background in direct marketing. He started several divisions of the company, including Raphel Publishing (our book division), Supermarket College (annual marketing conference for the supermarket industry) and Marketing InSight (our optical division).
Neil has co-authored several books, including "The Complete Idiot's Guide to Winning Customer Loyalty,"“Up the Loyalty Ladder,” “Tough Selling for Tough Times” and “The Loyalty Marketing Resource Book.”
Neil also has a background in finance and law, and was president of a commodities trading firm in New York City. He is a graduate of Swarthmore College and the University of Texas Law School.

  Murray Raphel
Chairman

Murray Raphel is one of the world's leading speakers and consultants on direct marketing, advertising and promotion with an emphasis on taking care of the customer.
He developed Gordon's Alley, a multi-million dollar shopping center in Atlantic City. He includes the ideas that worked for him then...and new ideas that work now...as part of his seminars. Murray speaks to business groups, associations and international corporations on how-to-do-more-business.
He has served on more than a dozen local, regional and state government bodies, was elected head of Atlantic County Board of Freeholders and has received awards and international recognition for his innovative marketing ideas that work.
Murray writes monthly columns for 4 magazines and an e-newsletter, “The Raphel Report.” He has authored and co-authored 11 books on marketing. His most recent book is "The Complete Idiot's Guide to Winning Customer Loyalty."

  Janis Raye
Vice President

Janis Raye heads the turn-key direct marketing programs for Raphel Marketing. She also is responsible for projects involving customer focus groups and other marketing research.
Janis is co-author of "The Complete Idiot's Guide to Winning Customer Loyalty" and “The Loyalty Marketing Resource Book". She has edited several books published by Raphel Marketing.
Janis has a MBA from Columbia University and is an alumna of Wellesley College. Prior to joining Raphel Marketing, she worked in customer and employee relations at Goldman, Sachs & Co. and at Citicorp.

  Ruth Raphel
Vice President

Ruth Raphel was a co-developer of Gordon's Alley, a major retail complex in Atlantic City and New Jersey's first inner city pedestrian mall. She was involved in all aspects of marketing, advertising and promotion, and was a merchandise buyer for Gordon’s clothing store.
At present Ruth is a marketer, editor and consultant for Raphel Marketing. In addition she creates presentations and produces Murray Raphel's seminars.

  Shirley Gordon
Vice President

Shirley Gordon was a co-developer of Gordon's Alley, a major retail complex in Atlantic City and New Jersey's first inner city pedestrian mall. She was involved in all aspects of marketing, advertising and promotion, and was a merchandise buyer for Gordon’s clothing store.
At present Shirley is a marketer and consultant for Raphel Marketing. In addition she heads Raphel Publishing and is a conference coordinator for meetings and conventions.

  Peter Boyle
Vice President

Peter Boyle is a founder of the Marketing InSight division of Raphel Marketing. He develops marketing programs for the optical industry.
As a practicing optical professional, he brings a specialized expertise to Raphel Marketing for our optical marketing programs. He currently owns two highly successful optical practices.
Pete often speaks at industry events and conferences. He is an expert in eyecare retail store design and has developed a program for safety glasses that has become a state standard.
Pete has been an optician for 20 years. He is certified by the American Board of Opticianry and is a fellow in the National Academy of Opticianry.
